Diary of the Art Studio

March 2025: drawing a sketch with charcoal, as a preparation for a gouache painting. This is the special corner in my art studio where I make my gouache paintings. I also have a corner for oil paintings, and one for my daily self portrait and also a large table for drawings, with for example ecoline or ink.

Just a habit in the seating area next to the art studio: drawing flowers. Often it results in a series of drawings and paintings.

I regularly draw and paint series of small artworks on paper. It helps me to get in a flow of making, and it helps to loosen up my style, deepens the exploration and leads to some exciting artworks. Results are posted on my Instagram account and some of them are presented in the gallery of this website
